Important work and safety instructions

When working on interior fittings, the following instructions must be strictly followed.

• It is recommended to use a plastic wedge, eg HAZET 1965-20, to pry off plastic trims and trims.
• Clamps that are damaged when removing covers must be replaced.
• The pillars of the windows and doors of the body in sequence from front to back are designated as pillars A, B and C.
• Seats, seat belts and airbags are important safety features. For safety reasons, only the work described here should be carried out. Do not perform complex work on your own, always contact a service station for this.

Attention: If, during body work, work is also carried out on the electrical system, it is imperative to disconnect the battery ground wire (-). Before carrying out work, read the instructions in chapter «Removing and installing the battery». At the same time, work on the electrical system also includes the disconnection and connection of electrical wires at the points of connectors.

Attention: Strictly follow the safety regulations when handling air bag, especially when working on the dashboard

To prevent the airbag from deploying, before disconnecting the wires of its system, you must turn off the ignition, and then disconnect the ground wire from the battery first (-), and after that the positive wire (+). In addition, for safety reasons, the negative pole of the battery need to isolate.
