Engine stop

If the engine has been running at high speeds for a long time, let it idle for about two minutes before turning off the ignition.

Caveats:

• When stopped, for example, at a traffic light, press the brake pedal. For safety, apply the parking brake as well, especially on hills.
• When accelerating the engine with the vehicle stopped, check the indicator on the instrument panel that the gearbox is in neutral. If any gear is engaged, then the car can go and get into an accident.
• Do not leave the vehicle without turning off the engine.
• When leaving the vehicle, turn off the engine and engage the appropriate gear for the situation. If you need to get out of the vehicle with the engine running, apply the parking brake and move the selector to position N.
• After the engine has stopped, the cooling fan may continue to operate for up to 10 minutes with the ignition off. It can even suddenly start spinning. Therefore, be careful when working in the engine compartment.

To stop the engine:

1. Check the enabled mode by the indicators on the instrument panel.

2. Stop the engine by turning the ignition key.

3. Release the brake pedal after a few seconds.
