Textile upholstery:Clean the upholstery of the pillows with a vacuum cleaner and a brush. Remove stains with shampoo, 25% ammonia solution or wine vinegar.
Grease and oil stains should be treated with technical gasoline or stain remover. The cleaning agent must not be poured directly onto the material, as this will inevitably form a border. Wipe the stain in circular motions from outside to inside. Other contaminants can be removed in most cases with warm soapy water.
Leather upholstery: in strong sunlight and long periods of parking, the seats should be covered so that they do not fade.
Clean leather surfaces with a slightly moistened knitted or woolen cloth, without overwetting the leather and seams. After that, wipe the dried skin with a clean soft cloth. Heavily soiled leather surfaces can be cleaned with a mild detergent without bleach (2 tablespoons per 1 liter of water) or shampoo. Carefully, without wiping, lightly moisten grease and oil stains with technical gasoline. Treat lacquered leather cushions after cleaning with the usual leather care product. This tool is available at service stations and in stores selling accessories for cars. Shake well before use and apply thinly with a soft cloth. After drying, wipe with a clean and soft cloth. Under normal seat load, this treatment is recommended every 6 months.
