Engine and exhaust system

In accordance with the maintenance card, the following work must be carried out at certain intervals:

• Engine/Engine Compartment: Visual check for leaks.
• Engine: engine oil change, oil filter change.
• Cooling and heating systems: fluid level check, antifreeze concentration check. Visual check of tightness and external contamination of the radiator.
• Diesel engine: remove water from the fuel filter / replace the fuel filter.
• Engine air filter: replacement of the filter element, cleaning of the filter housing.
• V-ribbed belt: condition check, replacement if signs of wear are found.
• Exhaust system: visual check for damage, leaks and loose fittings.
• Spark plugs: replacement.
• 1.4 liter petrol engine: check toothed belt for damage. If necessary toothed belt replace.
• Diesel engine: Timing belt replacement. ASY diesel engine: optionally replaceable guide roller (spare part no. 038 109 244).
• Study of the composition of exhaust gases; reading registered trouble codes (at the service station).
