The exhaust system of a gasoline vehicle consists of an exhaust manifold with a front exhaust pipe and a catalytic converter, a middle exhaust pipe with a main muffler, and an exhaust pipe. Depending on version, petrol engine for exhaust gas control (OG) has one or two oxygen sensors screwed in directly before and after the catalytic converter. The exhaust system of a vehicle with a diesel engine is equipped with two catalytic converters. In the event of a repair, individual parts of the system can be replaced individually.
