- Thoroughly clean the joints and places next to these joints before releasing them.
- Lay the removed parts on a clean base and cover with foil or paper. Do not use fluffy cloths for this!
- Exposed parts should be carefully covered or locked up unless urgent repairs are being carried out.
- Spare parts should not be taken out of the packaging until immediately before installation. Install only clean parts.
- With an open supply system, if possible, do not work with compressed air. If possible, do not move the car.
- Do not use any sealants containing silicone. Silicone particles sucked in by the engine do not burn and damage the oxygen sensors.
- Fasten fuel hoses to the engine only with spring clamps. The use of terminal clamps or clamps tightened with a screw is not allowed.
- Ensure that diesel fuel does not get into the coolant hoses. If fuel gets in, clean the hoses immediately. Replace hoses exposed to fuel immediately.
