Checking and adjusting wheel bearing play

Raise the front of the car and place it on supports, pull it off with" Temnik or rubber mallet wheel hub cap.

Loosen the locking bolt on the hub nut. To install, tighten the clamping nut while rotating the wheel by hand to prevent the bearing from jamming.




The play of the wheel hub bearing is set correctly if, when pressing with a finger on the screwdriver, the pressure one can still move.

Attention! In this case, jerking, rotational and levering movements with a screwdriver are not allowed.

Tighten the locking bolt on the hub nut to 13 Nm (1.3 kgcm).

Attach the wheel hub cap, push the tachometer cable on the left side and secure with the circlip.
