Note. The data given in the table refer to all vehicle variants when unladen.
Instruction. 10 minutes of arc corresponds to a wheel toe of 1.2 mm (for 15" tires).

Kafer 1200 | +1°±1° | - |
cabriolet | +15'±1' | - |
Maximum allowable deviation | -1°30' | - |
Maximum allowable camber difference of both wheels | 20’ | 45’ |
General convergence at prescribed camber | -5°±10’ | 0°±15’ |
Maximum permissible deviation in the direction of rotation | Max. 10' | Max. 10' |
Calculation of deviation from the direction of movement
1) For convergence values with the same signs ("+"/"+" or "-"/"-" Subtract the smaller value from the larger one and divide by 2.
Example:
The amount of convergence of the left rear wheel | The amount of convergence of the right rear wheel |
+15’ | +5’ |
15’-5'= 10’ | |
10’:2 = 5’ |
The deviation from the direction of movement is 5'.
2) Convergence values with different signs ("+"/"-") are summed up and the sum is divided by 2.
Example:
The amount of convergence of the left rear wheel | The amount of convergence of the right rear wheel |
+15’ | -5’ |
15’+5'=20’ | |
20’:2 = 10’ |
The deviation from the direction of movement is 10'.
The result obtained is the value of the actual deviation of the direction of movement from the longitudinal axis of the vehicle.
