Maintenance of electrical equipment

The performance of the electrical equipment of the car must be checked periodically.

As part of maintenance, the following are checked and, if necessary, adjusted or replaced:

• ignition timing;
• spark plug;
• electrolyte level in the battery;
• the condition of the carbon brushes of the generator and starter (every 50.000 km of run).

Attention! When carrying out any work on electrical equipment, it is necessary to disconnect the wire "masses" from the battery.
