For the perfect operation of the engine, the good condition of the contacts of the ignition distributor breaker is very important. Over time, the contact surfaces burn out, making it difficult to start the engine. Badly burned contacts must be replaced (in any case, this should be done every 20,000 km).
Attention! Breaker contacts with a black painted cam withstand approximately 30,000 km of run. They need to be checked every 10,000 km. During maintenance, the cam on the breaker contact must also be lubricated.
Spark plugs must be replaced every 20,000 km. To install, the spark plugs are screwed into the cylinder head by hand and then tightened with a wrench.
The ignition distributor cap, ignition coil and high voltage wires must always be kept dry in order to avoid leakage currents.
