Removal and installation of an oil filler neck

Removing

Remove the oil filler cap.



Using a special wrench VW 170 or a wide screwdriver and a hammer, unscrew the inner nuts securing the neck.

Attention! In Kafer 1200 vehicles, a ventilation tube with a rubber valve extends down from the neck.

Installation

Install the oil filler neck with a new gasket and tighten the nuts of its fastening. On Kafer 1200 vehicles, slide the ventilation tube down and insert the rubber valve.
