The gearbox together with the main gear form a single whole. The unit can only be removed after the engine has been removed. As a rule, the removal of the gearbox is only necessary when replacing or overhauling the gearbox and final drive. Such repairs are not recommended to be carried out at home. Therefore, we restrict ourselves to a description of the removal and installation of the box.
The described vehicle, depending on the variant, has a rear axle with either independent wheel suspension, or a structurally different rear axle with a diagonal balancer.
