Removal and installation of the front of the center console (station wagon)

Removing

Switch off the ignition.

Remove the shift lever cover from the lining.

For greater clarity, the steering wheel, parking brake lever boot and gearshift mechanism are not shown in the figures, the removal of these components is not required.

Remove mat (1) and unscrew the screws (2) (1.5 Nm).

Unlock the latches and remove the front storage compartment (3), disconnect existing wiring harnesses (4).

Remove from ashtray (7) insert (5).

Remove the screw (6) (1.5 Nm).



Remove the ashtray from the center console and disconnect the existing wiring harnesses.

Open the glove box on the driver's side and unscrew the two screws (1) (1.5 Nm).

Unscrew the screw in the front passenger's footwell (2) (1.5 Nm).



Remove three screws (1) (1.5 Nm).



Set the gear lever to the rearmost position.

Release the latches and remove the front section of the center console.
