General information about the engine cooling system

The cooling system includes the following main elements:

• cooling jacket in the cylinder block and in the cylinder head;
• coolant circulation pump;
• cooling system radiator;
• thermostat;
• a system of pipelines and hoses that combine the elements of the system;
• liquid-cooled accessories:
• heat exchanger oil - coolant (engine oil cooling);
• device for interior heating;
• additional heater
• heat exchanger for cooling the exhaust gas in the exhaust gas recirculation system.
