Visual inspection of the brake system for leaks and damage

Check the following components for leaks and damage:

• master brake cylinder
• brake booster (with ABS - and hydraulic unit),
• brake force regulator and brake calipers.

Check brake hoses for porosity and rubber hardening.

Check brake hoses and brake lines for wear.

Also check the brake hose connections and fittings for correct position, tightness and corrosion.

Attention: make sure that the brake hoses are not twisted. In addition, care must be taken to ensure that the brake hoses do not come into contact with vehicle components when turning the steering wheel to the maximum.
