Temperature control
Regulator (7) is a stepless controller.
The fastest heating of the cabin is achieved when the engine warms up to operating temperature.
Rear window heating
Approximately 20 minutes after switching on, the heated rear window switches off automatically. The heating can also be turned off by pressing the button again (2).
Heating button Sofort (5) with the symbol is available on vehicles equipped with a parking heater.

Cabin air recirculation mode
In the air circulation mode, the access of outside air to the heater is blocked. In this case, air enters the heater from the passenger compartment.
This is necessary in case of high dust content, gas contamination of the outside air, as well as when the outside temperature is too low.

The air conditioner only works when the engine is running and the fan is on.
With temperature controller (1) (see fig. 25), air distribution controller (6) and fan speed switch (6) it is possible to set the temperature of the supplied air, the places of its supply and the intensity of the air supply.

Heating and cooling of air in salon
Interior heating mode
Press a key (2) Esop (Economy mode). This action leads to the shutdown of the air cooling system, the yellow indicator light on the button is lit.
In this case, all actions for interior heating are carried out in the same way as described in the previous section for cars not equipped with air conditioning.
Interior air cooling mode
In this mode, the switch (key (2) Esop) switched off. At the same time, the air conditioner is turned on and the yellow light indicator on the button does not light up.
Pen (1) is the supply air temperature regulator in both modes.
If the supply air cooling system does not turn on, this may be due to the following reasons:
- the engine is not started;
- the fan is off;
- outside air temperature below about +3°С;
- the air conditioning compressor turned off due to too high engine coolant temperature;
- blown air conditioner compressor fuse;
- other errors in the vehicle control system. In this case, a complete check of the air conditioning system should be carried out.
Air recirculation mode
This mode is enabled and functions in the same way as described above in the previous section. It should be added that when the outside temperature is too high and the air conditioner is on, this mode can also be useful.
If the air distribution control is turned to a position that directs the air flow towards the windshield, then the recirculation mode will not turn on.
Attention! In air recirculation mode, no fresh air enters the vehicle interior. In this case, fogging of the glasses may occur.
To prevent polluted air from entering the car interior, there is a filter containing activated carbon. Also, this filter protects the interior of the car from the ingress of pollen into it.
Attention! At high humidity and outside temperature, a significant amount of condensate can form, which is drained through the drain pipes to the ground under the car. In such conditions, the presence of a puddle under the car is normal.
