Attention! Hot steam may come out when the expansion tank is opened. To avoid eye injuries and burns, you need to work in goggles and special clothing. The lid should be covered with a cloth and carefully opened.
Attention!
- When the engine is hot, the fluid in the cooling system is under pressure. Depressurize if necessary before repair.
- The hose connections are secured with spring clamps. When repairing, use only spring clamps.
- It is recommended to use spring clamp pliers for mounting spring clamps.
- When installing, lay the hoses of the cooling system without pulling them. Make sure they don't touch other components (according to the markings on the radiator fitting and hose).
Carefully!
When performing installation work, especially in the engine compartment due to its dense layout, the following rules must be observed.
- Highways of all types (fuel, hydraulic, fuel vapor recovery systems, coolant, coolant, brake fluid, vacuum) and wires should be routed in the original factory order (using appropriate fasteners).
- To avoid damage to hoses, tubes or wires, sufficient space must be provided when working on all moving or hot parts.
