Attention!
- When installing a new cylinder head, before installing the camshaft housing, it is necessary to lubricate all contact surfaces between the bearing elements, roller levers and the camshaft bed with engine oil.
- The plastic pads included in the repair kit to protect open valves may only be removed immediately before installing the block head.
- When replacing the cylinder head, you should also drain the old and fill in new coolant.
- All supporting and working surfaces must be lubricated with engine oil before installation work.
- Disassembly and assembly of the intake manifold.

1. Upper part of the toothed belt guard.
2. Toothed belt main drive:
- before removal, mark the direction of travel;
- check for wear;
- avoid cracks.
3. Timing belt coupled drive:
- before removal, mark the direction of travel;
- check for wear;
- avoid cracks.
4. Screw: 10 Nm.
5. Camshaft housing cover:
- only with engine code BUD.
6. Screw for fixing the cylinder head cover: 10 Nm,
7. Casing piping and wiring:
- screw to the camshaft housing with a torque of 8 Nm.
8. Spacer screw: 6 Nm.
- for the air filter housing;
- only with the letter designation of the engine BCA.
9. Tube of the cooling system.
10. Camshaft position sensor (hall effect) (G40).
11. O-ring:
- when assembling, replace with a new one.
12. Bracket.
13. Rocker:
- check for jamming;
- lubricate the work surface;
- when installing, fix it on the support with a locking bracket.
14. Eyelet for hanging.
15. Screw for securing the lifting eye: 20 Nm.
16. Locating pins.
17. Roller arm support with hydraulic lash adjuster:
- do not interchange supports;
- lubricate the work surface;
- before installation, check the axial run-up of the camshaft.
18. Cylinder head bolt:
- when assembling, replace with a new one.
19. Oil pressure gauge: 0.03Mpa (0.3 bar) (F1), 25 Nm.
20. Metal head gasket:
- when assembling, replace with a new one;
- after replacement, change the coolant.
21. Cylinder head:
- check for deformation;
- the surfaces adjacent to the crankcase of the camshafts must be free of oil and grease;
- in case of replacement, change the coolant.
22. Tension roller of the mated belt drive.
23. Screw for fastening the tension roller: 20 Nm.
24. Back part of a cover of a gear belt.
25. Camshaft housing:
- remove the remnants of the old sealant;
- carefully clean the landing surfaces; they must be free of oil and grease;
- apply sealant before installation;
- during installation, install from above vertically on the studs and dowel pins
26. Screws for fastening the camshaft housing: 10 Nm + tighten 1/4 rev. (90°);
- when assembling, replace with new ones;
- tighten from the center to the edges.
