Draining and refilling coolant

1. Open the cover of the expansion tank of the cooling system.

2. Remove the acoustic cover.

3. Open drain valve (arrow) on the radiator, if necessary, install an auxiliary hose on the valve nozzle.

Attention! On vehicles without a drain valve, remove the retaining clip (arrow) and disconnect the lower radiator hose from the radiator.

Also disconnect the coolant hose from the coolant-oil heat exchanger (arrow) and drain the rest of the coolant.
