Plastic pads protecting open valves should only be removed immediately before installing the cylinder head.
When replacing the cylinder head, you should also drain the old and fill in new coolant.

1. Screw securing the rear plate of the timing case: 23 Nm:
- Apply threadlocker.
2..Camshaft pulley.
3. Screw for fastening the camshaft pulley: 100 Nm:
- When loosening and tightening, use a lever to hold it.
4. Screw for fastening the rear plate of the timing case: 10 Nm:
- Apply threadlocker.
5. Rear timing case plate
6. Key.
7. O-ring:
- When assembling, replace with a new one.
8. Screw for fastening the branch pipe for removing steam plugs 10 Nm.
9. Branch pipe for removal of vapor-air plugs.
10. Special bolt: 9 Nm:
- Replace if damaged or leaking.
11. Oil filler cap gasket.
12. Oil filler cap.
13. Valve cover:
- When removing, loosen the fastening screws from the edges to the middle;
- When installing, tighten the fastening bolts from the middle towards the edges.
14. Valve cover gasket.
15. Cylinder head screw:
- When assembling, replace with a new one;
- Follow the sequence when loosening and tightening.
16. Screw for fastening the camshaft position sensor: 10 Nm.
17. Hall sensor (G40).
18. O-ring.
19. Cylinder head.
20. Branch pipe of the cooling system.
21. Pipe fastening screw: 10 Nm.
22. O-ring.
23. Cylinder head gasket:
- Mounting position: the part number must point upwards towards the cylinder head and be read correctly (not be upside down) when viewed from the intake manifold;
- After replacing the gasket, replace the coolant.
