Switches for checking the tightness of the injectors (supply pressure to the injectors without turning on the ignition)
BGU engines
Remove fuse SB 33 located in slot F 33 of the fuse block.
Using wires, connect the right terminal of the F33 socket to the positive (+) Battery, to turn on the fuel pump when the engine is not running.
Engines BSE, BSF
Remove the glove box from the driver's side.
Remove fuel pump relay (J17) from the relay box (see wiring diagrams),
Connect the contacts using wires (1) And (2) relay connector (in the block), to turn on the fuel pump when the engine is not running.
When the pump is running, no more than 1-2 drops of fuel per minute can flow out of the nozzles.
Switches for determining the amount of injected fuel
When checking the amount of injected fuel, the nozzles of the injectors are sent to separate identical containers (to do this, you need to remove the fuel manifold with injectors without disconnecting it from the fuel lines).
The injectors are powered by a push-button switch and a set of wires from (+) battery.
The fuel pump is connected as described above.
Power is supplied to each injector in turn (nozzle open) within 30 seconds.
Then the amount of fuel in the tanks is compared.
During the opening of the nozzle, the shape of the spray cone can be assessed.
