These systems are multi-point systems with fully electronically controlled fuel delivery and spark advance.
The injection system is controlled by the knock sensor, camshaft position sensor and intake air temperature sensor integrated in the air mass meter (by weight) anemometric type.
The volume of the intake manifold of all 1.6 liter engines is changed by the commands of the electronic control unit using a solenoid valve.
Multiplex wiring was used to connect the electronic engine control unit with the exchange rate stability and automatic transmission systems. The transmission of information is carried out via the Bosch CAN data transfer catalog.
The engine with the letter designation BGU is equipped with a SIMOS 3.3 multipoint electronic fuel injection system. Also, this engine is equipped with a system for supplying secondary air to the exhaust tract, designed to further oxidize the combustion products of the fuel. In addition, like all 1.6 liter engines, this engine is equipped with an exhaust gas recirculation system (EGR), designed to reduce the combustion temperature of the fuel. This is necessary to reduce the content of nitrogen oxides in the exhaust gas.
The BSE and BSF engines are equipped with the SIMOS 7.1 injection system. The exhaust gas recirculation system is not provided in these engines.
