Checking the air filter

The air filter is a supply system device that traps dust particles present in the intake air. Dust ingress leads to increased engine wear and fuel consumption. The air filter uses a filter element that must be replaced every 30,000 km or every 2 years. When operating the vehicle in dusty areas, the filter element should be replaced more frequently.

To replace the filter element, remove the cover from the air filter housing and replace it with a new one.
