Drain the engine oil.
Remove the crankcase protection.
Unscrew the oil sump and remove the crankcase gasket if it remains on it.

On fig. 452 shows the oil sump mounting. The oil sump is installed in the reverse order of the removal process. Pay attention to the following points:
- thoroughly clean the contact surfaces of the cylinder block and the oil sump;
- evenly crosswise tighten the bolts to a torque of 25 Nm;
- if you have not changed the filter, fill the engine with 4.0 liters of oil. Otherwise, fill the engine with 4.2 liters of oil. Be aware of the above recommendations regarding excessive amounts of engine oil in the engine. Subsection 4.6 contains certain guidelines regarding the use of engine oils, which should also be noted.
