Attention! If you removed the hex flange bolt, use a new bolt when installing. In this case, the weight of the car should not fall on the wheels, as this can lead to damage to the wheel bearings. Before removing the drive shaft, carefully clean the area around the connection point of the inner shaft joint to ensure that no dirt enters the gearbox.
Remove the wheel trim and unscrew the wheel bolts;
- hang the front of the car;
- remove the wheel;
- after fixing the wheel hub in a fixed position, unscrew the shaft mounting bolt.
Removing the left drive shaft
Remove the engine protection;

- pull the drive shaft out of the gearbox with a short jerk (pic. 243), you can use the mount;
Pic. 260. To disengage the drive shaft from the wheel bearing housing, slide the wheel bearing housing outward while pulling the drive shaft in the opposite direction
- unscrew the bolt from the end of the axle shaft, and then squeeze and remove the axle shaft from the wheel hub (pic. 260). Do not bend the hinge too much, the angle to which it can be bent should not be more than 18°.
