Removing

Remove tailgate trim. Remove rear roof panel. Unplug all electrical connectors at tailgate -1-. Release latches -arrows- of frames -5- of bellows -6-. Pull out the wiring harness 4- through the opening in the door. Further operations are possible only with the participation of an assistant. Loosen bolts -3- but do not remove. Remove gas struts -2-. Release screws -3-.

Installation

Screw in bolts -3-. Feed the electrical wiring harness -4- through the hole in the tailgate -1- and fix the frames -5- of the bellows -6-. Adjust rear lid and tighten bolts -3- to 10 Nm. Install gas struts -2-.
