Removal and installation of an arm of a back door

Removing

Remove carrier panel. Release locks -arrows a-. Remove bracket -1- from door lock -2- -arrow c-.

Installation

Slide bracket into place in lock -arrow b-. Fasten the clips and fasten the bracket -1- and the door lock -2- to each other -arrow a-.

Noise isolation

• 1 - Door
• 2 - Noise isolation, self-adhesive. Installation: if necessary, cut and place on the door, heat up with an industrial hot air gun -VAG 1416- and press firmly against the door surface
