Removal and installation of a sun-protection blind

Removing

Fully open the sun shade.

Instruction: If the electric drive fails, the blind can be fully opened. turning the motor with an ordinary hex wrench.

Remove the rear sunroof. Unscrew the bolt -3- securing the cover -2- (2 Nm). Use a screwdriver to release the latches -arrow- securing the cover -2- to the rear part -4- and tilt the cover -2- upwards. The inner seal -1- must be in place.



Carefully raise curtain rail -2- together with slider -1-.

Instruction: Do not damage the curtain material -3-.

Remove slider -1- in direction of -arrow- from curtain rail -2-. Remove ceiling lining.



Unscrew the bolts -1- securing the cassette -2- (3.5 Nm). Pull out sunshade cassette -2- in direction -arrow- and slightly downwards to bypass sunshade drive motor -3-.




Pull blind cassette -2- together with steel band -4- in direction -arrow- and out of blind guide -1-.

Instruction: Do not damage the curtain material -3-. When the curtain is removed, the curtain film can be replaced.

Carefully slide strip -1- in direction -arrow- off edge -3- of curtain -2-. Carefully push new strip -1- onto blind edge -3-.

Instruction: Do not damage the curtain material -2-.

Installation

Instructions: The placket must be put on the collar before the cassette is installed. Sliders and roller blind cables must not be lubricated.

Insert shade cassette -2- together with steel band -4- in direction -arrow- into shade guide -1-.

Instruction: Do not damage the curtain material -3-.



The tongue -3- of the cassette -2- must be pushed under the tire -1-.



Insert slider -1- into strip -3- in direction of -arrow-.

Instruction: Make sure that the slider -1- enters the groove on the steel caster -4- and engages with the fastening of the curtain drive cable -2-.

Further installation is carried out in the reverse order. Tightening torques: cassette mounting bolts 3.5 Nm, cover bolts 2 Nm.

Instructions: After installing the curtain, it is necessary to check the uniformity and ease of its movement. To do this, move the shade manually by turning the drive motor with a normal hex wrench, and make sure that the shade material is not overstretched or wrinkled.

Install ceiling lining. Install the rear sunroof. After completing all work, initialize the sun blind motor.
