Removal and installation of facing of a forward bumper

Instructions: It should be noted that depending on the model, the removal and installation of the front bumper trim occurs with some differences.

Detach the fender liner at the attachment points to the bumper cover. Detach brackets -5- at contact points with bumper cover. Unscrew bolts -4- located behind trims. Remove screws -2- from below. Release screws -3-. Further operations are possible only with the participation of an assistant. Pull the bumper outwards at the edges -arrow- and remove it from the mountings in the bracket -4-. With the help of a second mechanic, remove the trim in a parallel motion from the attachment points in the area of the headlights. Disconnect all existing electrical connectors and hoses.

Installation is carried out in the reverse order. By pressing on the edges of the bumper, insert it into the sockets of the fasteners.

Instructions: When installing the front bumper trim, make sure it fits on the side rails. It is necessary to maintain the uniformity and proper dimensions of the repair gaps.
