Removal and installation of lining from the side of the threshold

Instructions: The following describes the removal and installation work on the left side of the car. Removal and installation work on the right side of the car is carried out in the same way.

Remove the backrest adjustment knob. Pull up the height adjustment knob -1-. On the inside of the height adjustment handle, use a small screwdriver to press the tongue of the fastening bracket -2- towards the threshold and remove the handle from the lever -3-.

Instructions: For clarity, the mounting bracket is shown in the removed state.

Remove clip -1- from lever -3-.



Remove screw -1- (2 Nm). Press expansion pin -2- out of expansion piston -3-. Remove spacer pin. Pull trim -4- out of mounting sockets in seat frame towards front of vehicle.

Removal and installation of an arm of facing from a threshold

Instructions: The work on removing and installing the left side of the car is described below. Removal and installation work on the right side of the car is carried out in the same way.




Remove the backrest adjustment knob. Remove trim from sill side. Remove screw -1- (2 Nm). Remove two screws -2- (8 Nm). Remove bracket -3- from seat frame.

Removal and installation of lumbar support (with manual adjustment in 2 directions)

Position seat repair bracket -VAS 6136- on stand -VAS 6095-. Remove the front seat. Attach seat to bracket -VAS 6136-. Remove the front seat belt buckle. Remove lining from tunnel side. Remove the backrest adjustment knob. Remove trim from sill side. Remove seat back. Attach backrest to bracket -VAS 6136-. Remove the lumbar support adjustment lever. Remove the folding table from the back. Remove the front seat cushion and upholstery. Unscrew the two screws -1- of the drive mechanism (1.5±1 Nm). Unclip side clips -2- and -3- from backrest frame. Disconnect side springs. Remove lumbar support -4- from upper mounting holes -arrows- in backrest frame.
