Removal and installation of brackets of the center console

Switch off the ignition. Remove the electromechanical parking brake button. Remove the center console cover. Remove footwell trim on both sides.

Remove center console without center armrest.

If present, remove the DVD player. If present, remove CD changer. If present, remove holder for "iPod player" firms "Apple". If present, remove storage compartment with USB connector. If present, remove the multimedia system control unit.

Cars with a multimedia system

Remove the multimedia system control panel.

Vehicles with inverter with socket, 12 V-230 V -U13-

Remove inverter with socket, 12 V-230 V -U13-. Remove the rear panel of the center console. Remove center console with center armrest. Unscrew the two nuts -1- (8 Nm) and remove bracket -2-. Loosen two nuts -3- (8 Nm) and remove bracket -4-.
