Removal and installation of rear side seat belts

Vehicles without rear side airbags

Instructions: The following describes the removal and installation work on the left side of the car Removal and installation on the right side is carried out in the same way.

Remove rear wheel arch trim (vehicles without rear side airbags). Remove the rear sill. Remove C-pillar trim. Remove screw -1- (40 Nm) and detach the seat belt eyelet -2- from the body.



Remove screw -1- (40 Nm) and remove the retractable seat belt reel -2- from the holder.

Vehicles with rear side airbags

Instructions: The following describes the removal and installation work on the left side of the car. Removal and installation on the right side is carried out in the same way.

Remove the negative terminal from the battery. Remove rear wheel arch trim (vehicles with rear side airbags). Remove the rear sill. Remove the cargo floor from the vehicle. Remove the spare wheel from the vehicle. Remove other parts in the luggage compartment from the vehicle. Remove the rear end panel trim. Remove the luggage compartment side trim panel. Remove the ceiling trim. Remove C-pillar trim. Remove screw -1- (40 Nm) and detach the seat belt eyelet -2- from the body. Disconnect electrical connector -1-.



Remove screw -2- (40 Nm) and remove the retractable seat belt reel -3- from the holder.
