Removal and installation of components of system ABS of a back axis (front-wheel drive)

• 1 - ABS speed sensor, before installing the speed sensor, clean the hole and apply a little plastic refractory grease G 052112 AZ
• 2 - Hex socket bolt, 8 Nm
• 3 - Wheel hub with bearing (BEARING ASSEMBLY), the magnetic ring for ABS sensor operation is built into the bearing

Removal and installation of the wheel speed sensor on the rear axle

Raise the car. Unplug connector -1- for cable from speed sensor. Remove bolt -2- from wheel bearing housing. Remove the ABS speed sensor from the wheel bearing housing.

Installation

Before installation, clean the hole and apply a little refractory grease G 052 112 AZ to the sensor. Install the speed sensor in the hole in the wheel bearing housing and tighten the mounting bolt to 8 Nm. Connect the speed sensor connector.
