Unscrewing the dodecagonal head bolt
If the vehicle is on wheels, the hex head bolt can be loosened up to a maximum of 90°, otherwise the wheel bearing may be damaged. Use socket wrench 24 mm -T10361-. Raise the car so that the wheels hang out. Press the brake pedal. Remove hexagon bolt -arrow-.
Tightening hex bolt
Use a new hex head bolt.
Instruction: Before tightening the hub bolts, the wheels must not touch the floor; otherwise, the hub bearing may be damaged.
Press the brake pedal. Tighten hexagon bolt to 70 Nm. Lower the car onto wheels. Tighten the hex head bolt another 90°.
