Starting from the 2009 model year, the 3rd generation steering gear is installed on the vehicle. It replaced the 2nd generation steering gear. Steering mechanisms can be distinguished without removal by the number of bolts securing the steering mechanism to the subframe.
Raise the car. The 2nd generation steering gear is attached to the subframe with 4 bolts, and the 3rd generation steering gear with 3 bolts.
