Steering column

Thoroughly clean the connectors and their surroundings before removing parts. When installing the steering gear, make sure that all the centering bushes that are installed between the subframe and the steering gear are in place. To avoid contamination, place the removed parts on a clean surface and cover with foil or paper. Do not use rags that leave fibers on the parts! Install only clean parts - parts should be removed from the packaging immediately before installation. Use only lubricants and sealants marked with the numbers indicated. If repair of depressurized components is not to be carried out immediately, they should be carefully covered or put away in a place that excludes their contamination..

Instruction: Welding or straightening of load-bearing or guiding elements of the suspension is not allowed. Self-locking nuts must be replaced. Corroded bolts/screws and nuts must always be replaced.

• 1 - Steering column mounting crossbar with support bracket
• 2 - Steering column
• 3 - Bolt, 20 Nm, replace after each removal
• 4 - Element of the safety cage for the brake pedal
• 5 - Element of the safety cage for the clutch pedal
• 6 - Bolt, 30 Nm, replace after each removal
