Telephony systems

The Tiguan package provides two options for installing telephony systems. Either a connected phone or a phone connection kit. The connected telephone or telephone connection kit can only be installed in conjunction with a radio or radio navigation system. If the connection kit is installed in the vehicle, mobile phones can be retrofitted. Control block (interface block) The mobile phone is already installed at the factory in vehicles with a phone connection kit. However, an appropriate adapter for the phone holder is also required, the design of which depends on the phone model (accessories and accessories).

Instructions: The main difference between a connected telephone and a telephone connection kit is, in fact, the presence of a factory-installed mobile phone. The list below corresponds to the components of the connected mobile phone.

• 8 - Power supply for the control unit of the mobile phone control electronics (interface block)
• 9 - Mobile telephone control electronics control unit -J412- (interface block), under the front right seat
• 10 - Connector on the phone holder, in the wire harness of the phone holder behind the front panel
• 11 - Connector for connection to the control unit of the mobile phone control electronics
• 12 - Telephone aerial -R51-, located at the rear of the roof
• 13 - Antenna cable connector, telephone antenna connector, under the rear headlining
• 14 - Mobile phone -R54-
• 15 - Steering column control unit -J527-
