Front parking aid (PDC)

PDC Front Parking Assist System (Park Distance Control) assists the driver in maneuvering and parking by signaling the distance to an obstacle in front of the vehicle using audible signals. The front parking aid is a component of the parking aid in the gaps (PLA) (APP).

Front parking aid control unit

On vehicles with RPA or APP, the functions of the rear parking aid are controlled by the clearance parking aid control unit -J791-. The clearance parking aid control unit -J791- is located in the footwell on the driver's side behind the dash panel relay box on the left.

Removing and installing front parking aid button -E266-

The removal and installation of the parking aid button -E286- is carried out in the same way as the other buttons in the center console compartment.

Adaptation of front parking aid warning buzzer -H22-

On vehicles with PPA or AMS, the parking aid functions are controlled by the clearance parking aid control unit -J791-. For this reason, the front parking aid warning buzzer -H22- is adapted into the gaps via the parking aid control unit -J791-.
