Removal and installation of a forward screen wiper

Deactivate the APS function. Wait until the levers return to their original position and turn off the ignition. Disconnect battery.

Instructions: In order to remove the wiper trapezoid with the rods and the wiper motor, you must first remove the wiper arms and the plenum box lining.

Remove caps -arrows- by gently prying them off with a screwdriver.



Loosen nuts -arrows- and remove them. Fit puller -T10369/1- -2- onto end of lever -4- as shown in illustration. Unscrew thrust piece -3- until end of thread appears and remove lever by turning screw -1- clockwise. Repeat these steps with the second lever.

Removing the wiper trapezoid with rods and wiper motor

Unlock and unplug electrical connector -1-. Remove securing bolts -arrows- and pull wiper linkage with motor -2- out of vehicle from side.
