Removing and installing coolant temperature sensor G62

The engine is not warm. Remove air duct cover, to do this release side clips -arrows-.



Detach the bottom air duct by unlocking the catches -arrows-. Remove the lower air duct with the air hose.

Vehicles with resonator

Remove the charge air duct to the resonator.

Detach hose clamp -2-. Remove bolt -4-. Unplug electrical connector -arrow-. Remove soundproofing.



Remove air duct -1 and 2-.




Remove bolt -1- and remove air duct downwards. Disconnect electrical connector -1- from throttle valve control module -J338-. Remove bolts -arrows- and remove throttle valve module -J338-.



Remove support for intake pipe, to do this unscrew nut -2- and bolt -1-.



Unplug electrical connector -1- for coolant temperature sender -G62-.

Instructions: To collect the escaping coolant, place a rag underneath.

Remove retaining clip by pressing catches -arrows-. Remove coolant temperature sender -G62- -2-.



Installation is carried out in the reverse order, while observing the following.

Instructions: Replace the O-ring. Insert new coolant temperature sender -G62- into connection immediately to avoid loss of coolant.

Check coolant level.
