Cable pull test

To test the cable tie for ease of movement, you must first remove it from the gearbox and lay the disconnected end so that it does not touch other components and parts. Then the selector is switched and the thrust is set again. After that, it is necessary to adjust the cable traction of the selector. Do not lubricate the rod connection!



Move selector lever to position P. Remove cable tie -1- from selector shaft lever -3- using wrench -2-. To remove the cable tie from the counterholder, press the locking pins -arrows-. Switch the selector several times from position P to position S and again to P. In this case, the selector should have an easy move. Re-install traction. Adjust traction!
