Release of gas from the gas stop

Clamp the gas stop in the zone X=50 mm in a vice (pic. 8.3).

CAUTION: Clamping the gas stop in a vice is only allowed in zone X, otherwise there is a risk of damage to the stop and personal injury.

Notch the gas stop cylinder in the first third of the entire length of the cylinder, starting from the edge on the stem side.

NOTE: Be sure to wear safety goggles when cutting.

Cover the cut area with a rag.

Dispose of oil and rags according to the regulations in force.
