In this case, the protrusion arrow A must coincide with the recess - arrow B.
Install the spring on the lower holder VAS 6046/3.
Ensure the correct position of the spring in the holder VAS 6046/3 (rice. 4.81).
The upper cup must be installed on the spring so that the protrusion is opposite the fastening of the connecting rod 1 (pic. 4.83).
The cent lines A and B must be parallel to each other.
The end of the spring must lie against the stop of the upper support 1 (pic. 4.84).
Make sure that the boot is clamped in the upper cup of the spring 2.
On the piston rod, tighten a new hex nut.
Release the tie rod VAS 6046 and remove it from the spring.
Install the shock absorber.
Torque
Suspension strut nut (Use new nuts) - 60 Nm
