Removing
ATTENTION: Switchable stabilizers must be turned on before starting work. Otherwise, unintentional activation of the stabilizers may result in injury.
Loosen the shock absorber (pic. 4.87).
Insert a block of wood between bottom A and upper rear arm B (pic. 4.88).
This is necessary in order to press down the wheel bearing housing.
Loosen the bolt nut (pic. 4.89).
After that, press the bearing housing down with a block of wood so that the bolt can be removed.
Remove shock absorber.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
Tightening torques
Mounting the shock absorber to the body - 60 Nm.
Suspension strut to bearing housing (Use new bolt and nut) - 90 Nm + 90°.
