If you need to stop the car due to a technical malfunction:
- 1. Park the car as far as possible from the roadway;
- 2. Press the key to turn on the alarm (pic. 1.43);
- 3. Turn off the engine;
- 4. Firmly apply the parking brake;
- 5. Put the automatic transmission selector in position P;
- 6. To warn drivers of other cars, set an emergency stop sign in a timely manner;
- 7. Always take the key with you when you leave the car.
Turn on your hazard warning lights when approaching the end of a traffic jam, when stopped due to a technical problem, and when your vehicle is being towed. When the alarm is on, all direction indicators flash. The indicator lamps and the indicator lamp in the switch also flash. The alarm system works also at the switched-off ignition.
NOTE: If the alarm is on for a long time, the battery will be discharged.
NOTE: When using outdoor lighting, follow the rules of the road.
