The air conditioner operates only when the ignition is on, except for the residual heat mode. The refrigeration unit operates only when the engine is running and the fan is on.
To set the temperature and fan operation mode, turn the temperature knob 1 (pic. 1.85) and fan switch 9.
Keys are used to control various functions. When a function is enabled, the yellow lamp in the key lights up.
Increasing the temperature in the cabin
Turn the temperature control to the right until the desired temperature is reached.
Set the fan switch to one of the stages.
Direct the air flow with the keys in the desired direction.
Lowering the temperature in the cabin
Turn on the air conditioner with the button.
Turn the temperature control to the left until the desired temperature is reached.
Set the fan switch to one of the stages.
Direct the airflow in the desired direction using the corresponding keys.
Interior heating with residual heat
Switch off the ignition.
Press key «REST».
Heating
The maximum interior heating and quick cleaning of the windows is possible only when the engine is warm.
Refrigeration unit
When the refrigeration unit is turned on, not only the temperature in the cabin decreases, but also the humidity of the air. This improves the well-being of the driver and passengers and prevents the windows from fogging up.
If you cannot turn on the refrigeration unit, then the following reasons are possible:
- the engine is not running;
- the fan is off;
- outdoor temperature below +3°С;
- the compressor of the refrigeration unit has temporarily switched off due to too high a temperature of the coolant in the engine;
- air conditioner fuse is defective;
- there may be other reasons for the failure of the refrigeration unit, have it checked by a specialist workshop.
Residual heat
When the residual heat heating mode is on, the residual heat from the engine is used. In this mode, the unit operates in order to avoid a large discharge of the battery due to the pump drive for no more than 30 minutes.
Recirculation mode
The recirculation mode prevents polluted or foul-smelling outside air from entering the cabin.
Recirculation mode (in the
key) yellow lamp on) prevents the penetration of polluted air into the passenger compartment, for example, when driving through a tunnel or being in a traffic jam.
When the outside temperature is low, the recirculation mode increases the heating of the passenger compartment, as the air from the passenger compartment is heated instead of cold outside air.
When the outside temperature is high, the recirculation mode improves the cooling of the passenger compartment, since cooler air from the passenger compartment enters the refrigeration unit instead of hot outside air.
ATTENTION: In the recirculation mode, fresh air does not enter the passenger compartment. When the refrigeration system is switched off, the windows may fog up quickly. Therefore, do not turn on the recirculation mode for a long time.
