Interior mirror
For traffic safety, it is important to have good visibility through the rear window.
When the ignition is switched on, the interior mirror is set automatically to the anti-dazzle position from the light flux from behind. When the automatic transmission selector is moved to position R, the mirror returns to its normal position.
Exterior mirrors
Adjustment of position of external mirrors is carried out by means of the rotary button on the central console (pic. 1.48).
Adjustment of position of external mirrors
Turn the rotary knob to position L (left exterior mirror).
Tilt the button to adjust the position of the mirror to provide good rear visibility. If the main menu «Komfort-Setup» synchronous mirror adjustment is on, the position of the right mirror will be adjusted at the same time.
Turn rotary knob to position R (right exterior mirror).
Tilt the button to adjust the mirror to a position that provides good rear visibility.
Heated exterior mirrors
Turn the rotary knob to the position to turn on the heated exterior mirrors.
Memory for exterior mirrors (forward movement)
Vehicles with memory for the driver's seat also have «memory» for exterior mirrors. The set position of the exterior mirrors is also memorized when memorizing the position of the driver's seat.
Memory for right exterior mirror (backward movement)
When reversing, the right mirror automatically assumes the previously adjusted position when the button is in position R. This previously adjusted position is memorized when the driver's seat position is memorized.
Thanks to this position of the mirror, it becomes possible to see the curbstone on the right when parking. When reversing is turned off, the mirror returns to its original position.
WARNING: Convex mirrors (aspherical) increase the field of view. However, in them, objects appear smaller and farther away. When using such mirrors to determine the distance to the car from behind when maneuvering. If possible, use the interior mirror to determine the distance from the rear of the vehicle.
NOTE: In the event of a power failure of the exterior mirrors, you can set the position of the mirrors by pressing on the mirror rim. If the mirrors were installed separately as indicated here, you can adjust the position of the mirrors at the same time if necessary (synchronously).
