Engine start button for keyless entry
Starter button (pic. 1.110) performs all the functions of a normal ignition lock without the use of a key. It is only necessary to carry the key with you, for example, in your trouser pocket.
Start button functions
To unlock the steering wheel, press the starter button once to the first stop.
To turn on the ignition, press the starter button a second time to the first stop.
To turn off the ignition, press the starter button a third time to the first stop.
To start the engine, press the button to the second stop.
To stop the engine and turn off the ignition, press the button again to the second stop.
Press the button once to the second stop and keep it pressed for more than one second to lock the steering.
If you forget to engage the steering lock after stopping the engine, as soon as the car is locked from the outside, the steering will be locked.
Starting a gasoline engine with a starter button
Put the automatic transmission selector in position P or N.
Put the manual transmission lever in neutral position. Depress the clutch pedal to the stop and hold it in this position.
Hold the vehicle in place with the brake pedal.
To start the engine, press the button to the second stop.
After starting a very hot engine, you need to press the gas pedal a little.
After starting a cold engine, it will work with increased noise for some time, since the oil pressure in the valve clearance hydraulic compensators is still not high enough. This is normal.
If it is not possible to start the engine immediately, stop the starting process after 10 seconds. To do this, press the starter button to the first stop to turn off the ignition. After half a minute, repeat the start.
Starting a diesel engine with a starter button
Put the automatic transmission selector in position P or N.
Put the manual transmission lever in neutral position. Depress the clutch pedal to the stop and hold it in this position.
Hold the vehicle in place with the brake pedal.
To unlock the steering wheel, press the starter button once to the first stop.
To turn on the ignition, press the starter button a second time to the first stop. When the preheating is switched on, the control lamp lights up.
When the indicator lamp is off (or no longer lit), to start the engine, press the starter button to the second stop.

Diesel engine preheating
During the heating operation, do not turn on powerful current consumers - there will be too much load on the battery.
As soon as the starting preheating control lamp goes out, the engine should be started.
Starting a diesel engine after running out of fuel from the tank
If the fuel tank was completely empty, the first time the engine is started after refueling, the starting process will take longer than usual - up to half a minute. The reason for this is that the fuel system must be emptied of air during engine start.
Stopping the engine with the starter button
Stop the car.
To stop the engine and turn off the ignition, press the button again to the second stop.
After turning off the engine, the radiator fan can rotate for another 10 minutes, even with the ignition off. The fan turns on automatically when the coolant temperature rises on a hot engine due to the increased temperature under the hood due to strong solar radiation.
