Catalytic converter

To ensure the longevity of the converter:

• never fill with leaded gasoline;
• never drive with an empty tank;
• do not pour too much oil into the engine;
• do not start the engine with a tow, use the battery of another car.

If you notice misfires, reduced power, or severe engine roughness while driving, slow down and contact a workshop. Such features of the engine operation are usually indicated by a special signal lamp. Unburned fuel can enter the exhaust system and then into the environment. In addition, the converter can overheat and fail.

WARNING: Never drive with an empty tank, as an intermittent supply of fuel to the engine can lead to misfires. This allows unburned gasoline to enter the exhaust system, which can lead to overheating and damage to the catalytic converter.
