Replacing fuses
NOTE: Electrical circuits are protected by fuses. You should have several different spare fuses in your car.
According to the fuse table, determine in which mounting block and under what number the faulty fuse is located.
Turn off the ignition and any non-working electrical device.
Remove the cover from the mounting block.
Using tweezers, remove the appropriate fuse from the mounting block.
If the fuse is blown (seen from the melted bridge), replace it with a new fuse of the same current (the same color and with the same markings) and the same size.
Color marking of fuses
Color | Current, A |
Light brown | 5 |
Red | 10 |
Blue | 15 |
Yellow | 20 |
White | 25 |
Green | 30 |
NOTE: If the new fuse is also blown after a short time, have the electrical device checked by a specialist workshop. If a fuse rated for a larger current is installed, failures in other electrical circuits may occur.
